Keeping Up With the Information

  1. Electronic Tables of Contents (eTOCs): Individual table of contents alerts with full-text links can be delivered to you from specific journals or from multiple journals through PubMed (and other databases).
  2. PubMed's MyNCBI: PubMed personal account. You can specify that PubMed run previously saved searches. MyNCBI will deliver new articles from your searches to your email or an RSS reader.
  3. Ovid Personal Account: Similar to PubMed's MyNCBI, but for the Ovid databases.
  4. Faculty of 1000: Subject area experts select "most important" articles.
  5. UpToDate: Check the "What's New?" tab.
  6. NEJM Journal Watch: Keeping up with literature in over 30 specialties/topics. USC receives electronic versions of NEJM General Medicine, NEJM Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, and Women's Health.
