Social Work *: Find Books and E-books

To find a book in the library catalog by title:

1. Go to the library website: https://libraries.usc.edu/
2. In the drop down next to the search box, select Catalog
3. Enter the title of the book you are trying to find
4. You can also add quotes around the title to search those exact words. Example: "Just above my head"
5. If we have the book in library's collection, you'll see a link on the results list.
6. To find an ebook, use the filters, 'Books' and 'Available Online' to narrow the results to books available online. 

To find a books by topic in the library catalog: 

1. Go to the library website: https://libraries.usc.edu/
2. Enter search terms that describe your topic (example: youth mental health)
3. You can also add quotes around the terms to do a phrase search and search those exact words. 
4. Refine your results, by using the filter 'books' to find books on that topic.
