Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery (IDD): Home Delivery

A Guide to all IDD Services

Who is Eligible for Home Delivery?

Home Delivery is available for distance-based users including students, staff, and faculty.

USC Libraries defines a Distance User as a student who is currently enrolled in an official distance-based and/or online academic program.  A Distance Faculty as an instructor who teaches a course in an official distance-based and/or online program.

To view a complete listing of USC's distance and online programs, please visit USC Online.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We currently only ship to locations in the continental United State including Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Materials are shipped via UPS and require a street mailing address (no P.O. boxes).
  • In some cases, the electronic version of a book (e-book) may only be available.  In such cases, a link will be sent to the resource if owned by USC Libraries or an option to purchase and add to our collection will be suggested.
  • If you have an APO/FPO address, we will send material via First Class US Mail.  We are currently unable to provide return postage for APO/FPO addresses.
  • Required course textbooks are unavailable for Home Delivery services.  Please see Requesting Textbooks for details.
  • If you do not meet the Distance User qualifications listed above, we may be able to make a temporary exception.  Please contact us at idd@usc.edu for more details.
