Ways to earn CEUs / NCPD credit

Continuing Education (CE) is now termed Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD). Several opportunities for NCPD credits are listed below.

Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN)
Low-cost and with some discounts and some free NCPD credits for members, this site offers several different platforms and specialty credit opportunities.
American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN)
AAACN members earn free Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) credit in the Online Library from ViewPoint, AAACN's bi-monthly publication. Others may purchase the articles and NCPD in the AAACN Online Library.
American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA)
Each month, ANNA offers a free nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) program in the Online Library available to ANNA members only.
CINAHL Complete CE Modules
EBSCO's CINAHL Complete is now accredited to offer CEs. From the Advanced Search page under "Limit your results" choose CE Module and Search to see all 169+ offerings. Many are cancer care related.
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) offers more than 50 contact hours of NCPD for free to members.
ONS Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing
Earn nursing continuing professional development contact hours by reading the latest articles from the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing.
