The collections in this section contain primary source materials that can be used by researchers exploring issues related to equity, diversity, inclusion and antiracism. The first section contains collections by and about groups of people who have been left out of the traditional Western Academic Canon. The second relates to languages and cultures in Africa, Asia, Central and South America. The third grouping contains collections that document issues such as the abuse of human rights, genocide, colonialism, American expansionism, militarism, urbanization, and race relations and look at the experiences of diverse groups. The final list deals with USC's history and it's attempts to be more equitable and inclusive. Of note in this section is USC's Dissertation and Thesis collection that goes back to the first thesis written at USC. Some collections are listed in more than one group.
