Japanese Extensive Reading Collection

The Japanese Extensive Reading Collection is designed to assist students with learning the Japanese language, in tandem with Extensive Reading in Japanese classes in the Department of East Asian Languages and CulturesThe collection is divided into nine reading levels (0: Starter, 1: Beginner, 2: Upper-Beginner, 2+: Elementary, 3: Pre-Intermediate, 3+: Lower-Intermediate, 4: Intermediate, 4+: Upper-Intermediate, 5: Advanced) and includes graded readers, picture books, novelized animations, comics, essays and novels. The collection over over 1200 hundred titles is housed in the East Asian Library Reading Room, below are some examples. Two e-book collections are also available: レベル別日本語多読ライブラリー「よむよむ文庫」and  にほんご多読ブックス.
