Japanese Extensive Reading Collection

The Japanese Extensive Reading Collection is designed to assist students with learning the Japanese language, in tandem with Extensive Reading in Japanese classes in the Department of East Asian Languages and CulturesThe collection is divided into nine reading levels (0: Starter, 1: Beginner, 2: Upper-Beginner, 2+: Elementary, 3: Pre-Intermediate, 3+: Lower-Intermediate, 4: Intermediate, 4+: Upper-Intermediate, 5: Advanced) and organized according to five color-coded categories (graded readers, picture books, novelized animations, comics, essays and novels). It is housed in the East Asian Library Reading Room.
