QUICKSTART
Ready to jump in? Here are the top things to know about starting your research:

Article literature for MFT topics can be found in several databases and the top two are PsycINFO and Family Studies Abstracts. Start searching by clicking on their names.

Access to the DSM-5 online through the library's subscriptions.

Statistical information is often needed to understand the scope of a problem. Visit the National Institutes of Mental Health and the CDC's statistics page for information on mental health topics.

Managing all the materials you find is a key to success. Use a tool like RefWorks to save, organize and output all those citations.

ARES is where your professors post assigned class readings (except for those in your textbooks).

Ask me when you get stuck! I'm here to help you with your research needs. My contact information is on the right.
