The HPC-NML Bioinformatics Computing Resource

Funded by USC Office of Research and the USC Libraries, the USC Libraries Bioinformatics Service collaborates with the USC Advanced Research Computing to offer a dedicated condo cluster HPC-NML for the analysis of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data with Partek Flow.

  • Two 16-core AMD EPYC processor Model 7302 (3.0GHz, 128MB cache, 155W)
  • 256 GB memory (16x16GB PC4-23400 2933MHz DDR4 RDIMM)
  • Mellanox 100GB/s EDR InfiniBand

  • Two 8-core Intel Xeon processor Model E5-2650v2 (2.6GHz, 20MB cache, 95W)

  • Two 10-core Intel Xeon processor Model E5-2680v4 (2.4GHz, 35MB cache, 120W)
  • 64GB memory

  • Two 12-core Intel Xeon processor Model Silver-4116 (2.1GHz, 16MB cache, 85W)
