This guide includes apps and mobile-friendly websites selected by librarians which may be helpful for health sciences students, staff, and faculty. Some of these apps are paid for by the USC Libraries, some are available with a discounted cost due to your USC affiliation, and others are freely available to all.
Click on the tabs to find resources to support different activities and roles. You'll see instructions for how to get this app under each app.
Apps and the processes for getting them onto your device change frequently and while we try, this guide may not be completely up to date. If what you see on this guide does not match what you see on your phone or tablet, contact the health sciences libraries for help.

Finding useful and relevant apps is difficult. Many professional groups review and suggest apps in their non-scholarly publications like newsletters, reports, and journals. Examine communications from professional groups you are a part of for additional lists curated for your profession. Apps may also be reviewed or discussed in journals or magazines, in review columns or in editorial content. Search Google Scholar for these publications, as PubMed has fewer of these publication types.
