How to read western comics
Western comic pages are read from left to right. Each page consists of panels organized in rows, the panels are read from left to right, then the next row is read the same way. Essentially, they’re read in a Z shape as shown below.
How to read Manga
Manga is typically from read right to left. Panels are read from right from to left and top to bottom as shown below. Also there are instances were the story panels that are arranged in vertical columns are read only from top to bottom as shown in below in panels 16-18.
