USC LIBRARIES - WONDERLAND AWARDS

The Wonderland Awards are an annual multidisciplinary competition, open to students from all California universities, which encourages new scholarship and creative work related to Lewis Carroll (1832–1898). The inaugural awards were hosted in 2005 and there are now more than 400 student submissions in the Wonderland Awards Archive.

USC LIBRARIES - INFORMATION LITERACY COURSE ENHANCEMENT GRANTS

This grant opportunity is designed to foster curricular implementation, through re-design of a syllabus and/or assignment, of the USC Libraries Information Literacy Outcomes for Undergraduates and/or the SAA/ACRL-RBMS Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy. Disciplinary faculty collaborate with librarians, acting as instructional designers, to revise a course or major assignment sequence to accomplish information literacy learning outcomes.

Grants are offered in one of two tracks:

  • The Primary Source Literacy Track focuses on integrating primary source literacy concepts through the use of materials from Special Collections.
  • The Information Literacy Track focuses on all other types of information, including but not limited to scholarly sources, popular and social media, and student-produced work.

USC LIBRARIES RESEARCH AWARD

The Annual USC Libraries Research Award recognizes excellence and creativity in the use of USC Libraries’ research collections and services. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit papers or projects they have completed at USC in a for-credit class or through independent study.
