About Dr. Sonia Kaur Everest
Dr. Sonia Kaur Everest received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2013 and continued on to seek a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Everest had her first dental experience in the Head Start program as a child and the experience was a driving force to pursue a career in serving those in need, specifically children. She always had a special bond with children throughout dental school, and was actively involved in Mobile Clinic and Dental Care for Children. Dr. Everest’s was a face seen quite often at the Wilson Dental Library and she will be remembered for her wonderful smile, kindness, and personality. The Wilson Dental Library would like to honor her memory by sharing her smile with the Ostrow community and the pediatric dental community. Books that were purchased in Dr. Everest's honor include a special book plate, and we hope that they will be used to foster learning about oral health.
