This guide will provide information about using the new USC Libraries Integrated Library Management system, Primo.

Signing In

Access to USC Libraries' electronic databases, electronic journals, electronic books, and other research websites is for the exclusive use of all current USC students, faculty, and staff. In order to ensure access to complete results, be sure to sign in using your USC-issued ID and password. Sign in to also view your Library Account and customize your research.

After you are done searching and have added items you wanted to the Saved Items folder, you can click to generate citations or export/email results:

Recalling an Item

If an item you need is already checked out, you can "Request" to recall the item (have the item returned to the library before its' due date) by following these steps (Note: You must be logged in with your USC ID to recall an item):

Step 1: Under "Availability" select the item you would like to recall

Step 2: Select "Request" option

Step 3: Complete the form and select "REQUEST"
