The data presented here was obtained from the 2000 County and City Data Book, published by the U.S. Bureau of the Census, It is designed to serve as a statistical reference and guide to other data publications and sources. The latter function is served by the source citations appearing below each table and in Appendix A, Source Notes and Explanations.
