How to get the book

Here are some ways you can get a copy of the book:

  1. Read the ebook via the USC Libraries subscription. See the link below. 
  2. Read one of the two print copies available at the Wilson Dental Library. 
  3. Borrow a print copy from your local public library.
  4. Borrow the ebook or audiobook from your local public library using the Libby app. Contact your local public library to learn more. Apply for a Los Angeles Public Library e-card here and Los Angeles County e-card here. 
  5. Purchase a used or new copy at Amazon, Abe Books, Thrift Books, another online book retailer, or your local bookstore.
  6. Purchase a Kindle version through Amazon or listen to the audiobook with a paid subscription to Audible.

Meeting Dates/Times

The meetings will be held online via Zoom PST:

  1. We Are Not Like Them: Discussion #1: Chapters 1-5: May 27, 2025 12:00pm
  2. We Are Not Like Them: Discussion #2: Chapters 6-11: June 17, 2025 12:00pm
  3. We Are Not Like Them: Discussion #3: Chapters 12-Epilogue: July 22, 2025 12:00pm 

Everyone who signs up will receive a calendar invitation and Zoom link for each meeting. If you did not receive a calendar invite, please contact Hannah Schilperoort at schilper@usc.edu.
