CU@USC is the University of Southern California’s nightly talk show, airing every weeknight at 6:30pm on Trojan Vision. For the past 17 years, CU has been featuring interviews with some of the most interesting and prestigious individuals from the Los Angeles community and beyond.
Robert Biller, Emeritus Professor, USC School of Policy, Planning and Development
An interview conducted by Alvin S. Rudisill, Distinguished Prof. Emeritus, Univ. Chaplin Emeritus, USC School of Religion of Robert Biller, Emeritus Professor, USC School of Policy, Planning and Development. Dr. Biller served USC for 30 years, from 1976 serving as the Dean of the School of Public Adminstration, then Vice President for External Affairs, Vice President for Undergraduate Affairs, and Executive Vice Provost. In 1993 he returned to the School of Public where he taught mainly freshman courses and then helped to merge the School of Public Administration with the School of Urban Development, which then became the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development. After the development of the school he served as its interim dean from 1998-2000. He has also served as Interim Dean of th School of Fine Arts, the new School of Policy, Planning and Development, as well as two tours as Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. He received USC's Presidential Medallion in 1998. He retired from his full-time status in 2001.
On November 14, 2013 USC was honored by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. with a 2013 Eddy Award. The Eddy Awards honor leadership in economic development in business and government though out Los Angeles County. This video was produced by USC to play during the Eddy Awards program.
