Once you have identified your Research Question generate a list of words, or Keywords that are related to your topic. For example, your question, loneliness and college students The keywords related to your topic:

loneliness and "young adults" and "social media" and "colleges or universities" and "united states"...

search keywords:

loneliness and "college students"

Advance Keywords search:

 "mobile devices", isolation, United States, studies, "focus groups"

Use AND, OR, NOT to connect your phrases/keywords

to locate both "college students" AND isolation

to locate either word college OR universities

to locate (the first word) depression NOT isolation
