Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity

  • The mission of the Kortschak Center is to serve individuals with diverse learning needs and to empower students to reach their full academic and creative potential.

Office of Academic Records & Registrar

  • Includes services such as registration, transcripts and degree verification, diplomas, transfer credit, academic petition services.

Office of Student Accessibility Services

  • Provides support and accommodations for USC students with disabilities. Services include assistance in providing readers/notetakers/interpreters, special accommodations for test taking needs, assistance with architectural barriers, assistive technology, and support for individual needs.

Transfer Students

  • Information includes resources from academic programs, housing, advising, etc.

USC Libraries
The libraries at USC offer scholarly collections for research, personalized help with research questions, subject research guides, and study spaces. In addition,

  • Leavey Library has an excellent collection of DVDs and libraries provide a variety of streaming media services.
  • The Science and Engineering Library has a popular reading collection of books in the sciences.
  • Library research guides provide access to resources for study and research, arranged by broad subject areas.
  • The Library has developed a guide to Open Educational Resources (OERs), defined as "teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain." 
  • Free Interlibrary loan borrowing  from other university libraries and document delivery services for library resources.

The Writing Center

  • USC Dornsife's Writing Center offers free services to all USC students in the form of individual consultations and in-class workshops.

Pathways for Career Success for First Generation College Students (SSEM 200):

  • this is a 2-unit, sophomore seminar course offered through the Dornsife Colelge that exposes students to the connection between potential careers and academic programs in the liberal arts and sciences. Students are provided with an extensive support group.
