For GIS day this year we are partnering with our cross town rivals at UCLA to bring you the first ever Battle of the Maps!

On the heels of numerous successful humanitarian map-a-thon events across the country (including here at USC) we will be holding a joint map-a-thon event with UCLA where we will be working together (and competing against them!) on a humanitarian mapping project.

When: 10:00am - 1:30pm November 15th, 2017

Where: Leavey Library, 3rd Floor in the Polymathic Lab

Food will be provided.

Hope to see you there!

After the event everyone is invited to a talk by senior service hydrologist Jayme Laber from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service at Mudd Hall, MHP 203.
