Pacific Rim Archive: Put yourself on the map

Provides access to archival collections relating to Westerners' involvement in East Asia between the 1840s and 1940s.

What is an historical item?

Everything is a product of the time and place in which it came into being, so anything can be considered an historical artifact, reflecting back, in some way, on its origins and allowing us to better understand its part of the past. If you or someone in your family, organization or acquaintence came from, lived in or passed through East Asia during the period of this project, we would be very interested in having represented in this mapping project your photos, letters, documents, recordings, or objects.
