Finding Books at USC

Use the USC Libraries Search and Catalog to find books and e-books that are relevant to your research. Our user's guide for USC Libraries will be helpful. Search for books by title by inputting the title in the search box on the library homepage. If we have the book, it will show up in the results either available as print or ebook. 

To find a book on your topic: 

  1. Go to the home page of the library:
  2. Select Advanced Search from the drop down next to the search box
  3. On the next page, select Material Type - Books
  4. Type in terms to describe the topic (Example: "post-traumatic stress disorder") 
  5. Click Search
  6. To narrow results to e-books, select the filter Available Online

Article Databases

The selected databases below cover mental health and wellness topics. Look at the database descriptions to help you select the best database for your topic. Find all of our databases on the library website. Under FIND, select Databases. 

Scholarly Journals

The selected journals below include scholarly, peer-reviewed research related to mental health and wellness. You can access other journals on the USC Libraries website by using the Journals search. Under FIND, select Journals.
