Chinese Films, Documentaries, etc. at the USC Libraries

There are two main locations in the USC libraries for you to check out Chinese films, documentaries, etc.

  1. USC East Asian Library has a growing collection of Chinese films, opera, documentaries and TV programs, most of which are shelved in the EAL audio/visual stacks.
  2. Leavey Library holds a considerable number of Chinese documentaries. Please go to the guide China in Documentary Film (Leavey Library) for more information.

To check out a video title from the EAL audio/visual stacks, please ask for assistance at the Doheny Library Circulation Desk. The lending period is 1 week, not renewable.

East Asian Library Conference Room (DML 109C) and Seminar Room (DML 110C) are both equipped with multi-region DVD and VCR players, which can allow you to watch videos in groups. Please click here to learn more about the rooms and how to make reservations.
