  • Mergent Horizon  
    Mergent Horizon provides comprehensive coverage for all companies that are actively traded on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ. Includes Merger & Acquisitions Scenario Builder, see Reports tab.
  • Mergent Online  
    Use Mergent Online get Company and Competitor data. Use the 'Competitors' tab find 'comps' competitors. Under Company Financials' download 'All Sections' for full financial information.
  • Capital IQ
    Capital IQ can be accessed in the Crocker Library and in the JKP Lab (2nd floor). The computer with the software has paper sign on top of the screen with instructions. Search articles databases for informaton/news on M&A activitiy.  Use Thesaurus tools to look up terms (Mergers & Acquistions), or search for companies with terms like Merged, Merger, aquired, and subject as M&A (use Thesaurus if possible).

  • EStatement Studies  
    The online version of the Annual Statement Studies, produced by the Risk Management Association (RMA), includes financial ratios on over 760 industries, industry default probabilities and cash flow measures
  • Hoovers Online  
    Create a list of IPOs by price, offer, date, size, underwriters, industry, geography, etc. by using 'Build A List' tab. Begin at IPO Data
  • Mergent Horizon  
    Provides financial data and highlights the relationships between a company's major customers, suppliers, partners and competitors, details the hierarchies of company products and services, analyzes data for sector aggregates, generates M&A scenarios and much more..
  • Mergent Online  
    US and international company data, annual reports, and financial data.
  • Mergent WebReports  
    Online access to scanned images of the Moody's/Mergent manuals. These provide financials, corporate histories, business descriptions, and information on subsidiaries, officers, and municipal debt in some cases back to the early 1900's.
  • Mint Global  
    US and international company information from Bureau van Dijk including Datamonitor market research and company reports (same content as Orbis with a different interface).
  • Morningstar Direct

Use Thomson One - 'Research' for analsyt reports.  Use Keyword searches to find analyst opinions on synergies, strategies and valuations.

League Tables

League Tables are periodic rankings of M&A activity, inlcuidng the largests deals and firms that are involved in these deals.

League Tables are available in SDC Platinum and Zephyr databases; Thomson ONE provides recent deals and allows you to search on a number of criteria  to create cusomoize league tables.
