LibCal for Instruction & Reference Calendars

The USC Libraries began using LibCal for both Instruction and Reference calendars in January 2012.  Airset will no longer be used.  LibCal is a product of Springshare, the company that created LibGuides, and the look/feel of LibCal is quite similar to LibGuides.  It is very easy to use!

Your login is your USC email, including the part.

Your default password is “libcal”, lower case. PLEASE CHANGE IT when you login for the first time.  We encourage you to login even before you have to schedule a subject instruction sessions, etc.  We have a practice calendar you are encouraged to use for adding and modifying "events."

For details on the upgrades to LibCal in November 2012, please click here:  Screenshots of the biggest changes from that upgrade have been added to this Guide.

    Dashboard Info

The "Dashboard" is your LibCal Homepage.

If you are an "event organizer/owner" OR a "presenter," your upcoming events (reference staffing, instruction sessions) will appear as alerts on your Dashboard.

You can also modify events from those links.
