USC students/staff/faculty only

USC students, staff, and faculty may download video interviews for educational purposes using the Shoah Foundation Institute’s Mpeg Download Tool (MDT):

The MDT allows USC users to download tapes of testimonies to their desktops. The files are mpeg1 format.

Go to: http://uiweb1.usc.edu/mdt/.

The computer must be connected to the USC network.

Users can connect from off-campus by signing into the Virtual Private Network (VPN).  (Note: the Library Proxy does not grant access to the Mpeg Download Tool; off-campus users must sign into the VPN.)

The MDT works on PCs and Macs, and with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

The speed of the internet connection will determine how quickly the videos download.
