Searching for Dissertations

Most recent dissertations can be found in ProQuest, often in full-text.  All titles by USC students since the fall of 2006 are in digital format only. See the Dissertations LibGuide for detailed information about locating dissertations in Homer.

Dissertations Indexes

  • ProQuest Dissertations and Theses  
    Database of dissertations and theses with citations going back to 1861. Full-text for most dissertations added since 1997, which are available for download in PDF format. Search for USC titles in the Advanced Search section.
  • Doctoral Dissertations in Musicology  
    DDM-Online is an international database of bibliographic records for completed dissertations and new dissertation topics in the fields of musicology, music theory, and ethnomusicology, as well as in related musical, scientific, and humanistic disciplines. Containing more than 14,000 records.
