Streaming Media (Videos & Music): Home

USC Libraries offers several options for streaming video, music, and other media from various platforms.

Streaming media allows a user to engage with a resource in real-time as opposed to downloading a file to a computer before accessing its contents. These educational services offers a continuous stream of data like Netflix or Hulu, but with subject specific content that can be used in the classroom.

  • Embedding: If you'd like to embed a media link into email, social media, or a presentation, this feature is available through all platforms.
  • Adding to course management system: If you're a faculty member and would like to embed a media link to your syllabus or through ARES, please contact Reserves for assistance.
