This research guide is for use by USC Health Promotion and Global Health Programs

Library Information for Faculty

The USC Libraries offer a wealth of information for your research and teaching needs.  We have print and electronic collections and welcome your recommendations.  Below you will see information on how to request additions to the collection.

As the liaison to the Health Promotion and Global Health Programs, you can contact me for assistance with:

  • program and course research guides (see an example under the "Health Sciences for Undergraduates" tab
  • library instruction for your students, in the library or your classroom (Request A Class)
  • graduate student workshops
  • citation management tool training
  • discussions about your specific information needs that may not have been met

I am available to meet with you and determine how the library can partner with you and your students.

Collection Development

The libraries do not purchase textbooks, how-to manuals, best-sellers or materials not relevant to academic programs at USC.

Document Delivery

ILLiad is USC's electronic system for requesting materials owned by other libraries through the global interlibrary loan network. The name ILLiad can be thought of as an acronym for Inter Library Loan internet accessible database. This system also manages our Document Delivery service, which currently delivers electronic copies of articles and other documents to faculty and distance users.
