It provides annotated links to scholarly web resources. It does not strive for exhaustiveness. Where possible, links to high-quality, scholarly meta-sites are given. - Infomine (University of California, Riverside)"INFOMINE is a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. It contains useful Internet resources such as databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, mailing lists, online library card catalogs, articles, directories of researchers, and many other types of information."
- Intute"Intute is a free online service that helps you to find the best web resources for your studies and research. (…) Our subject specialists review and evaluate thousands of resources to help you choose the key websites in your subject." (Intute is created by a consortium of seven British universities)
- Les Pages d'Histoire: Histoire de France (Patrice Talvast)French history from 30,000 BC to 1998 divided into four periods: Period 1 (-30 000 - 1000), Period 2 (1010 - 1494), Period 3 (1504 - An VIII (1794), Period 4 (1804 - 1998). Includes texts and images for each historical fact and a monthly theme to explore. Provides the words to the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
- Magister - Travaux Dirigés de Français (Site de Phillipe Lavergne)An excellent resource for the study of French literature (genres, authors, periods) and language. Includes "Les Resources du Bac".
- MEMO - Le Site de l'HistoireAn invaluable resource. MEMO (created in 1998) is a free site providing access to a rich array of “cultural voyages” relating to French and European historical heritage. It is extremely rich in contents, including encyclopedic information as well as thousands of historical and cultural “dossiers” created by acknowledged researchers, historians, and university faculty.
