Introduction to RefWorks 2.0

In the summer of 2010, the RefWorks developers introduced a new version which they call RefWorks 2.0. The capabilities are similar to RefWorks Classic, but the interface has been upgraded and many features have been implemented using newer technology. RefWorks’ intention is to provide a more usable interface as well as provide enhanced features in the future.

A preview tutorial is available on the RefWorks site (highly recommended):

The RefWorks 2.0 Fundamentals tutorials are available here.

You can access your current RefWorks account using either version of the interface, or even switch between them seamlessly.

  • If you are logged into RefWorks Classic (the older version), you can switch to RefWorks 2.0 by using the link in the upper
    right corner
