Economics *: Alumni

A resource for the USC College Department of Economics

Public Libraries

Many public libraries offer many of the same business databases that we have at USC although you may need to go into a library to use some of them while others can be accessed from home with a public library card and username.  In addition, public libraries have reference librarians that can assist with specific questions.

  1. Remote access to USC Libraries' electronic databases, electronic journals, electronic books, and other research websites is for the exclusive use of all current USC students, faculty—including visiting and part-time—and staff.  Electronic resources are governed by license agreements, and the terms of use are set by the publishers and vendors from which they are subscribed. If you are a member of the USC Alumni Association, you can access the ProQuest Research Library through the Alumni Association site.

  2. Library privileges are not transferable to other individuals, and the library reserves the right to request secondary picture identification before allowing access to facilities or providing services.

  3. Only USC students, faculty, staff, and alumni and sponsored guests may be present in libraries open after 9:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. All patrons will be asked to present their USCard or library-issued USC identification during these times.
